Where are your TV listings supplied from?
XML TV Listings is a data source for televisions listings across the U.S. and Canada. All data is provided by, and property of, TV Media Inc., North America's most reliable television listings aggregator.
What do I do if there is an error with my listings?
You can use our contact page to submit an error or from your account page click the "Report Error" link and we'll look into the issue as quickly as possible.
How long is my free trial?
All of our plans come standard with 14-day trials. Your credit card will be charged at the end of this period. Certain promotions may provide for longer trial periods.
How can I cancel my subscription?
  1. Login
  2. From your account dashboard, go to Manage Subscription
  3. Uncheck Auto Renew.
  4. Click the Update button
Your account will no longer be charged for subscription renewals, and will expire on the date listed in the details. You will still be able to manage your subscription and lineups until your account expires. If you change your mind you can turn auto-renew back on any time before your subscription expires.
Can I publish these listings on my own site?
No you may not. These listings are intended for personal use by end-users only. Redistribution is prohibited as outlined in our terms of service. You are welcome to refer people to our service.
How do errors in the listings occur?
There are a number of reasons why errors occur in the listings. The most common reasons are:
  • Schedules are not submitted from TV stations
  • Changes are not sent to us in time or at all
  • Breaking news interrupts scheduled programming
  • Human error
I'm a developer and want to use these listings with my commercial application.
Commercial APIs are available through TV Media. Please visit developer.tvmedia.ca.
What methods are available for downloading my listings?
The listings are available for download through an HTTP (web) link. A direct link includes your personal subscription code and the lineup you wish to download.
Who should I contact if I am unable to download my listings?
If you are unable to download your listings, please use our contact form to send us a message so we can look into the problem. Please note, we only supply the listings and are unable to help you with software issues.
I am unable to log in to my account.
Try resetting your password. If you are still unable to log in, send us a message with your account details.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA and MasterCard. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accept American Express.
Is there a maximum number of lineups I can have on my account?
Each user is restricted to 5 lineups.
How many times per day can I download listings?
To prevent abuse, each user account has a maximum of 5 downloads per day.
How many days of data are provided in each download?
If you are using the API or Grabber, we provide up to 14 days of listings. A direct download from the website will provide you will 7 days of listings.
Is it possible to download only changes?
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide a downloadable change report.
I can't find my cable/satellite provider.

What is your affiliation with the XMLTV Project?
XML TV Listings is not affiliated with the XMLTV Project. XML TV Listings provides a personal-use subscription service for TV listings for North America only.
